Welcome to ThomasQuigley.com. I have to admit that I never thought I would be the proud owner of a blog about Real Estate investing, but I am.
I have been a school teacher for most of the past 20 years of my life, teaching at schools in Brooklyn, NY, Chicago, IL, as well as in some suburban school districts outside of Chicago.
As most people know, educators do not make a lot of money, and so I have for most of the past 20 years worked at least one, but sometimes two, part-time jobs to support my family. Finally, after years of fear-based procrastination, and the false belief that working one, two, or even three jobs would somehow make me wealthy, take care of our current financial needs, and also provide for mine and my wife’s retirement years, I have started down the pathway to financial freedom. Better late than never as the old saying goes.
